When I first received it the spread smelled terrible

When I first received it the spread smelled terrible.it smelled like old wet socks! I aired it outside and sprayed it with linen spray. That worked. I have had a problem with the quilting threads pulling out. I get long threads that have to be clipped off. I have has several (5 I think) Madison park spreads/ comforters. This is the only one I have ever had a problem with..mind you, we are very careful wit not putting things on the bed. Our last comforter lasted seven years and still looks great. I just wanted to freshen up the bedroom.

Never received. Was charged but either relieved to wrong address or never shipped.
